Why it Matters
For many children, a stuffed animal is more than a toy—it’s comfort, security, and something to hold onto during uncertain moments.
Care ‘n Share was inspired by the compassion of the Torrey Pines Rotary under the leadership of Nancy Stoke , whose vision created a lasting tradition of giving.
What began at the San Diego County Fair has grown into a program that now reaches children across hospitals, shelters, and communities throughout the Californias.

- 122,000+ toys distributed
- 4,300+ toys collected in 2025
