On behalf of the Foundation for the Children of the Californias, thank you for joining us at Celebration for the Children: Every Smile Tells a Story. Your presence and generosity made our inaugural event truly meaningful.

In honor of John Rush’s extraordinary impact on the Foundation, we were thrilled to announce that the FCC Legacy Award will now be known as the John Rush Legacy Award. We are also proud to share the establishment of the John Rush Legacy Fund, which will continue his vision of transforming children’s lives. This fund has been generously seeded with a $10,000 gift from the San Diego Kiwanis Foundation, and we are deeply grateful for their leadership in carrying John’s legacy forward.

The Foundation would also like to extend heartfelt congratulations to our Dr. Betty Jones Award recipients, The Doyle Foundation, for their steadfast support and commitment to our mission donating more than $450,000 in the last three years.
